Newbery Challenge

The Newbery Challenge: I’m reading all the Newbery Medal winning books awarded annually for outstanding contribution to children’s literature by the American Library Association. Crossed out titles are those that I have read for the Challenge which I started January 2012 or in the past five years. In general, I’m trying to work my way from 1922 – present and I’m hopeful I can read them all in about three years.  If I’ve read a title in the last five years, I’m giving myself the option to pass on a title. A number of the titles from the 1960s and 1970s I recall reading when I was a kid, so I’m looking forward to those re-reads!
